TIE/NIE Lot in A Coruña - Check the Lot for Your Office

If you have already completed your fingerprints for your TIE card in A Coruña province, you can check the progress of your lot here. The lot number is usually shown on the resguardo you received after your fingerprint appointment. It may also appear as lote TIE or lote de Extranjería.

It is important to choose the correct office. Lots in Santiago de Compostela, A Coruña, Ferrol and Ribeira are managed separately and may update on different days. To check your card, always select the office connected with your application.

What is my lot number?

The resguardo from your fingerprint appointment contains several different numbers, and it is easy to confuse them. To check whether your TIE card is ready, you need to find the actual lot number.

For example, if your resguardo shows:

2026/015, N: 150
Your lot number is 015.

The number after N: is not the lot number. The format of the resguardo may vary slightly, but in this example you need to check lot 015.

What is the difference between NIE and a TIE card?

NIE is your identification number as a foreign national in Spain. It is a personal number that can appear on different documents and be used for different procedures.

TIE is the physical card. If you are required to have a TIE, your NIE number also appears on the card.

Put simply: NIE is a number and TIE is a card. If you are waiting for your card after your fingerprint appointment, you need to check the lot connected with your TIE.

How to check if your TIE card is ready in A Coruña

Select A Coruña, choose the office connected with your application and enter your lot number. Form24 compares it with the latest available information for that office and shows whether your TIE card may already be ready to collect.

Do I need an appointment to collect my TIE?

It depends on the office. The collection process may be different from one office to another, so before travelling, check the resguardo you received after your fingerprint appointment and the information for your office.

On Form24 you can also check the available information for your office and see whether a prior appointment - cita previa - is required to collect your TIE.

If you need an appointment, use the official website and select:

POLICIA - RECOGIDA DE TARJETA DE IDENTIDAD DE EXTRANJERO (TIE)

When could your TIE card be ready in A Coruña?

The pace of lot updates can vary from one office to another. Santiago de Compostela may update before Ferrol or Ribeira, or the opposite may happen. This is why the lot from another office is not a reliable guide for your own card.

If your card is not ready yet, the Form24 calculator looks at the recent progress of lots at the selected office and estimates an approximate date when your card may be ready.

This is only an estimate, not an official collection date. It can give you a useful idea of how much longer you may need to wait.

Don't want to check your lot every day?

AutoTrack does it for you. The system automatically tracks your lot number at the selected office. When your lot number is ready according to the latest available information, Form24 will notify you by e-mail and WhatsApp.

Before travelling to collect your TIE card

Form24 shows the latest available information about TIE lots. Sometimes an office or an official source may publish an update and later correct or change it.

If you need to make a special trip to collect your card, we do not recommend buying tickets or making significant expenses only because your lot appears as ready. Confirm the information with the relevant office first. The final confirmation is the actual collection of your card from the office.

Frequently asked questions

Where can I find my TIE lot number?

It is normally shown on the resguardo from your fingerprint appointment. For example, if it says 2026/015, N: 150, the lot you need to check is 015, not 150.

Can I use the Santiago lot if my application is in A Coruña?

No. To check your own card, you need to look at the office connected with your application. Each office manages its lots separately.

Why can the Ferrol or Ribeira lot be different?

Because each office updates its own lots independently. If one office moves forward, this does not mean that Santiago de Compostela, A Coruña, Ferrol and Ribeira will all update at the same time.

Do I need an appointment to collect my TIE card?

It depends on the office. Check your resguardo and the information for the relevant office first. If a cita previa is required, book your TIE card collection through the official website.

Is Form24 a Police website?

No. Form24 is an independent service for checking and tracking TIE lots. For official requirements about documents, appointments or TIE card collection, always check the information provided by the relevant office.
